The Special Day

No wedding will ever be the same as Lauryn and Luke’s was at the Gold Coast Farm House, complete with Llama’s for guests to pat. This Gold Coast wedding venue has plenty of room to set up your dream wedding, bring your pets and even have a game of crochet. Lauryn wanted to DIY as much of her wedding as possible. She made her own floral arrangements for her arbor, bridesmaids and herself. Instead of buying a wedding cake she instead opted for donuts, simple, cheap and easy but delicious all the same.

Getting Ready

Lauryn and Luke used our beautiful restored Queenslander to get ready together. The groom and groomsmen all wore shorts and loafers and the bridesmaids wore dresses by Shieke. Lauryns amazingly fully beaded wedding gown was from Brisbane wedding dress designer Karen Willis Holmes.

The reception

They opted for a round white yurt from Montville Yurts with a picnic style set up with rugs and wine barrels for people to eat and relax.  Austream affairs set up drinks in their 1972 airstream and even had the llama’s come for a visit. At 6pm just before the speeches they had a tattooist come out and give the couple matching tattoo’s on their fingers of a love heart with their initials in the middle. Their magical day was captured by the talented Kristina Wild Photography, one of the top Gold Coast wedding photographers.
