Morning Preparations
Arrival and Set-Up
On your wedding day, the property can be accessed from 10am. If there is no wedding the previous day, you can arrange to stay in the renovated Queenslander the night before.
Your tipi, tent, or marquee will be set up, ready for furniture to be arranged, decorations added, and tables set. If you have booked the deck of the house for your reception, preparations will begin, transforming it into your dream wedding venue.
Your ceremony location will start to take shape, with chairs, furniture, decorations and sound equipment set up. Vendors will start to arrive to add their special touches to your ceremony and reception spaces.
Getting Ready
The beautifully renovated Queenslander is the perfect place for you to get ready. Here, you can have your hair and makeup artists work their magic as you relax in charming Farm House style. Whether the space is used for the bride, groom or both, you’ll appreciate the beautifully appointed house with its stunning décor and amenities.
Be sure to have your photographer on hand to capture your preparations in the Farm House. The backdrops are incredible and make for stunning memories captured on your wedding morning.
Wedding Party Brunch
Utilise the pretty pink kitchen to prepare a delightful and delicious brunch for the wedding party and close family and friends. Take this moment to fuel yourself for the big day ahead. Start your wedding day with gratitude and love by toasting those who have helped with planning.
Pre-Ceremony Activities
First Look and Pre-Ceremony Photos
Once you are ready, it’s time for more photos. Whether you’re staying apart or having a First Look moment, there are endless locations on the property for pre-ceremony photos.
Guest Arrival and Welcome Drinks
With most of our wedding packages we provide a chartered coach to transport guests from main Gold Coast locations out to the Farm House. This alleviates the stress of unavailable taxis and Ubers, as well as the unfamiliar location of the secluded property. Guests are of course welcome to drive their own cars, with plenty of parking available onsite.
Welcome your guests with a refreshing drink or snack, live music or entertainment to set the mood for your celebration.
The Ceremony
The most important part of the day has arrived. Wherever you’ve chosen to exchange your vows, now is the time to make your way there. Whether you walk, take a car, or utilise the Farm House buggies, we’ll ensure you reach your destination safely and in style.
How the ceremony plays out is of course up to you. Enjoy this moment and be present, knowing that everything else about your day is just a bonus. What you say to each other in this incredibly special moment, is all that really matters.
Post Ceremony Celebrations
Post ceremony celebrations are popular at the Farm House, since your guests don’t have to relocate for the reception. Keep them entertained and refreshed with hors d’oeuvres and a signature drink and invite them to relax on the lawn furniture. The opportunity to mingle will ensure a festive celebration with lots of fun and social interaction.
During this time, you’ll be able to have your bridal portraits and any group photographs taken. There are endless locations on the property to serve as a beautiful backdrop for your shoot.
The Reception
Reception Space Reveal
Now is the time to move onto the main event. At the Gold Coast Farm House, you can choose from the deck of the house, a tipi, tent, or marquee wedding reception. You can even host your celebration out in the open, under the stars. Wherever you’ve chosen, your reception space will be decorated, set, and ready to go.
Dinner and Speeches
How ever you choose to plan your night, be sure to relax and enjoy every moment. Delegate responsibilities to friends, family, or staff beforehand, so you can spend your time celebrating, instead of working. Choose experienced vendors so you know they will have everything under control to ensure a seamless and spectacular celebration.
First Dance and Party Time
The First Dance is your time to shine and share an extra special moment with your beloved. This may be a quiet and intimate slow dance, a choreographed routine, or you may entertain guests with special guests and surprises. Your band or DJ will get the party started and ensure the dancefloor is full and pumping.

The bus will take guests back to the coast at 10:30pm. If there is no wedding the next day, you can hire the Queenslander home for the night and enjoy the Farm House for longer.
