Chloe & Sunny | A Magical Day
There’s something truly magical about a wedding that focuses on what matters most – two people, deeply in love, surrounded by their closest family and friends. That’s exactly what Chloe and Sunny created with their intimate elopement at the Gold Coast Farm House. With only 16 guests, an acoustic soundtrack, and the iconic Tallow Wood tree as their backdrop, their ceremony was heartfelt, simple, and beautifully them.
Chloe and Sunny chose the Elopement Package for their magical wedding day. They had struggled to find a venue that was able to accommodate their vision of a truly intimate wedding ceremony with only their nearest and dearest in attendance. Our Elopement Package was perfect. The couple exchanged vows under the 100 year old Tallow Wood tree and followed with a photoshoot around the property. With 2 hours access to the grounds, Chloe and Sunny were able to have the ceremony of their dreams in a beautiful and secluded location in the Gold Coast Hinterland. They continued their celebration with a reception at the QT Hotel, Surfers Paradise.

A Ceremony to Remember
For Chloe and Sunny, the highlight of their day was the moment they saw each other at the aisle.
“Seeing one another surrounded by our closest friends and family, under the Tallow Wood tree—it was such a beautiful moment. Even our guests said the tree added to the magic of the day.”
With soft, golden light filtering through the trees and the sounds of live acoustic music, it was a ceremony filled with love, emotion, and meaning.

Elegant Simplicity with a Bold Touch
The couple styled their elopement with a minimal black-and-white palette, adding a bold pop of red through the bouquets and table florals. The effect was modern, chic, and a perfect reflection of their personal style.
Their aisle song, “2 Much” by Justin Bieber, and first dance song, “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls, were performed in acoustic covers by Benny Hanna—adding another layer of intimacy and warmth to the experience.

Captured Moments—In Motion and Memory
While their photos were stunning, the couple’s most treasured keepsake turned out to be their wedding video.
“If you’re second guessing the investment of videography, don’t! It’s our most treasured memory. The video lets us relive the day and experience it from a guest’s perspective.”
It’s a great tip for other couples planning smaller celebrations—your day may be short, but the memories last forever.

An Unexpectedly Wild Moment
Like any good farm-style wedding, a little nature made a surprise appearance.
“During our photo session, we saw a snake and a wallaby on the property. It was such a memorable part of the day—and made it all feel even more Australian and authentic!”

The Proposal That Started It All
Their journey to the aisle began in the English countryside:
“We were living in London and often spent weekends in the Cotswolds. Sunny planned a night away in Bibury and proposed in the gardens of the Swan Hotel. A nearby photographer captured a few photos for us. It was the perfect day.”

Why They Chose Gold Coast Farm House
The elopement package at Gold Coast Farm House was exactly what Chloe and Sunny were searching for:
“The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the elopement package was perfect for our 16-person wedding. It was so hard to find a venue that catered to such a small group—and we’re so glad we found this one.”

Their Best Advice to Future Couples?
“Do your wedding your way. It’s your special day, and there are no rules.”
We couldn’t agree more.
