THE PROPOSAL

Lovers of the beautiful outdoors, it makes sense that Aleisha and Alex’s proposal took place after a delightful day in Margaret River wineries. The fun-loving couple took a quiet moment to capture their adventure, and after taking a picture together, Alex popped the question.

In a true fairytale moment, Aleisha joyfully responded with a resounding “YESSS!!!!!”

THE CEREMONY

Aleisha and Alex exchanged vows at the point of the lake. Styling was simple and elegant with the couple choosing the stunning natural surrounds as the backdrop for their nuptials. The classic black and white colour palette looked striking yet harmonious against the lush green forest and blue sky. The bridal party’s fresh white bouquets added the perfect floral decoration. But all eyes were on the loved up couple.

Aleisha’s bridesmaids lead the procession to the tune of “Higher Love” by James Vincent McMorrow, while the bride herself entered to the soulful melody of “Is This Love” by Allen Stone. The ceremony was so full of love and happiness that even an unexpected rain shower didn’t dampen their spirits. In fact, the gentle downpour added a magical touch with the couple considering it a memorable moment that they’ll both treasure forever.

THE RECEPTION

The celebration continued under the tipis, with guests being treated to the delicious offering from Fire’n’Dough. The party goers enjoyed drinking, dancing, and dining with hot pizza and cold shots on offer to keep their spirits high. Guests were also invited to commemorate the event with a special tattoo. Aleisha and Alex enlisted the service of a tattoo artist to adorn themselves and their guests with flash tattoos. It was a unique aspect of their wedding that allowed guests to mark the occasion in a creative and meaningful way.

Aleisha and Alex had their first dance as a married couple to the heartfelt song “Dive” by Luke Combs, which added a touch of romance to the festivities. The couple performed this special ritual under the fairy lights of the naked tipi with a celebratory display of sparklers illuminating the newlyweds as they embraced.

ADVICE

Aleisha and Alex loved their wedding celebration, with very few hiccups along the way. They were grateful to Krystal and the team for ensuring everything went to plan. Reflecting on the day, the couple recommend communicating clearly with vendors to ensure that all aspects of the reception are executed smoothly. For example, the slushy should have alcohol in it! Regardless of this omission, they considered the wedding a complete success.

Not only do Aleisha and Alex recommend having a tattoo artist on hand, but they absolutely loved the 360 photo booth, another interactive experience that captured joyful moments throughout the celebration. Their ultimate advice for future couples embarking on their wedding journey is to enlist the help of their bridal party in organising and managing details. Sharing the responsibility ensures a stress-free and joyous celebration of love and commitment.
