The Highlight of the Day
When asked about the most memorable moment, the couple didn’t hesitate:
“Definitely the ceremony. Officially becoming husband and wife with my best friend was the most surreal moment.”
The love and connection between them was palpable as they exchanged vows beneath the tallow wood tree at the Farm House. An acoustic melody was the soundtrack to Aleisha’s entrance, with a cute flower girl and ring bearing pup guiding her way to Nick. The ceremony, officiated by Lauren Maree, was intimate, heartfelt, and everything they had hoped for. It was the perfect start to their big day and ultimately their new life together as husband and wife.

Modern Elegance Meets Hinterland Charm
With the bridal party in classic black and a focus on elegant simplicity, the couple opted for a modern wedding style that felt timeless and sophisticated against the natural backdrop of the hinterland.
“We went with black for the bridal party and it gave it a really timeless look.”
The styling paired perfectly with the lush surrounds and relaxed vibe of the Gold Coast Farm House, striking the ideal balance between chic and effortless. Aleisha was dressed in the most breathtaking gown and elegant trailing veil. She changed up after dinner, into a cute mini that mirrored the same off-the-shoulder look of her bridal gown. Nick remained looking dapper in black tie from the ceremony to their farewell.

Their Soundtrack of Love
Music set the tone for the day in the most romantic way:
Aisle Song: Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis (sung live by Kahlia)
First Dance: Forever After All by Luke Combs
These moments were made even more magical with a fun and inclusive way to bring all their guests into the celebration – the sparkler entrance for their first dance was a major highlight and one they would recommend to everyone.
“It got everyone involved and made it feel extra special.”

One Thing They’d Change?
As many couples discover, the day can fly by in a joyful blur. One day never seems enough and you’ll want to re-live each moment over and over again.
“More time for getting ready photos! It all goes so quick on the day.”
A great tip for future couples: build in just a little extra time to savour those early hours with your crew. Getting ready with your closest friends and family in the beautiful Queenslander is a highlight of many couples’ time at the Farm House. The options for photos are endless with all the stunning details of the renovated home and the surrounding gardens to backdrop your memories.

The Proposal Story
Their engagement was as meaningful as their wedding day:
“Nick proposed to me right out the front of my parents’ property, overlooking the water—the same spot where he first met me when he picked me up for our first date.”
The proposal was carefully planned with the help of both her parents and timed to perfection with friends and family gathered nearby to celebrate. A moment full of love, intention, and significance.

Why They Chose Gold Coast Farm House
“It’s such a beautiful property and had the relaxed atmosphere we were looking for. The flexibility of choosing our own vendors was great and allowed us to find options within our budget and taste.”
With its open spaces, stunning natural surroundings, and welcoming feel, the Gold Coast Farm House gave them the freedom to create a day that was uniquely theirs. The couple chose to celebrate with an intimate reception, catered by Pizza Fusion, on the deck of the house. The party then went to the lawn with lots of dancing and late night drinks served by The Little Bar Cart.

A Moment to Treasure Forever
One of the most meaningful moments came in the quiet just after the ceremony:
“We were sitting under the tree that we were just married under and about to go up to the house to greet all of our guests. It was the first time it was just the two of us, and we both couldn’t stop smiling.”
Captured candidly by their photographer, it’s a memory they’ll hold close forever – a perfect snapshot of the love and joy that filled the entire day.
